Martha Towers, BSc Nursing
Martha attended the University of Alberta, Canada, and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1994. She earned her certification in critical care and forensic nursing. She has practiced in various settings including labor and delivery, emergency, endoscopy lab, and post-anesthesia recovery unit. Martha’s interest in alternative medicine began when she embarked on her health journey to improve her quality of life.
She found that while working in the mainstream medical system, it was difficult to find the root cause of her health issues. However, when she incorporated alternative modalities and naturopathic medicine into her life, she began to find relief in her symptoms. In 2015, she became a patient of Dr. Norris and adopted the integrative medicine philosophy. As her knowledge and experience with integrative medicine grew so did her passion to want to help and empower others to begin their health journey.
In 2021, She became a team member of Integrative Family Medicine, where she treats each patient as one of the family. To further serve our patients, Martha completed her training as a HeartMath Certified Practitioner in 2023. Outside of the office, Martha enjoys swimming, reading, and spending time with her family and her beautiful dog Alice. Martha is a certified Martha Beck Life Coach and United States Master Swim Coach. She also is an active competitive swimmer.
